Chicago Conservation Corps

While studying at Columbia College Chicago, the Chicago Conservation Corps (C3) turned to us to create their new identity. Main requirements were: (1) show a circular flow similar to the 'recycling' icon, and (2) include the four elements of nature — fire, air, water, and earth.

I responded with two variations of two concepts. One has a distinct icon for each element; another unites the elements in a landscape. Their flat designs adapt to either color or black & white — a very important quality. After review, C3 purchased the latter concept.

Similar work: Associated Press, DEFY Media, Morgan Stanley, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, XFinity

Final logo designs pitched to the Chicago Conservation Corps. Those in the right column were ultimately purchased.
